Interact Charity Car Wash 2012

MARK YOUR CALENDAR PEOPLE!
INTERACT CLUB WILL BE HAVING A CHARITY CAR WASH TO RAISE FUNDS TO GIVE THE SCHOOL A NEW FACELIFT.
The details are as followed :
Date : 18 February 2012 (Saturday)
Venue : ACS Car Park
Time : 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The car wash provides exterior car wash and interior cleaning:
Exterior Car Wash:
-10 Ringgit Malaysia only
-includes full exterior body wash, exterior window cleaning and
tyres cleaning.
Exterior Car Wash + Interior Cleaning:
-15 Ringgit Malaysia only
-includes full exterior body wash, exterior body wash, exterior and
interior window cleaning, tyres cleaning and vacuum cleaning.
Motorcycle Cleaning
-5 Ringgit Malaysia only
-includes body, tyres and rims cleaning
-free helmet cleaning provided

New Webmaster

Just a short post on myself today. I am officially the webmaster of this website so, do come back and check all the new updates regarding school.

Penilaian Menengah Rendah

In less than two days time, the Form Threes will be sitting for Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR). Time really do flies, in just a blink of an eye, it is already October. The time where the Form Threes will be sitting for PMR. No doubt that we are all nervous. All the teachers and students of SMK Methodist ACS Sitiawan wish all the form threes all the best!

Merdeka Day Celebration

Hello there!
On August 15th, an assembly was held to celebrate our country’s 54th year of independence! The assembly began with the singing of the national anthem. After that, Puan Hasanah briefly explained the activities which are going to be carried out during Merdeka week. Later on, after the singing of Jalur Gemilang, our school military band played one of the patriotic songs, Keranamu Malaysia. The atmosphere were charged with students flocking Dataran and gaily waving Jalur Gemilang. Two students, Eric and Raja Ezzah recited a poem about the independence of Malaysia. The assembly ended with the singing of the school song.

Majlis Malam Mesra

Hello hello!
On 22nd of July 2011, Majlis Malam Mesra was held in our school hall. This is the second time that this event is held in our school.The event started at 8.00 pm and came to end at 10.30 pm only. Teachers, parents and even students attended this event! Both parents and teachers had a good bonding time where the parents got to know more about what happens in school and how their children are doing in school.All the stalls that was set up had delicious food. There was ice-kacang, kebab, juices and many other appetizing food. Special guest Dato Kong Cho Ha also attended this event.

Mr Phang Yat Huah’s Retirement

Greetings,
Our beloved Mr Phang has finally retired after 16 years of service in SMK Methodist (ACS) Sitiawan. He retired on 27th July 2011.
He is a very dedicated teacher and he always help his students. He even agreed to come back and teach the Form Six after his retirement. As we know, he teaches Physics and Modern Maths. Between these two subjects, he prefers physics to maths.
Therefore, we wish him all the best in life!

Mr. Krishnasamy and Mr. Yuziasril’s Farewell

There are a few changes in the school. Mr. Krishnasamy and Mr. Yuziasril have been transferred to SMJK Nan Hwa and SMK TLDM Lumut respectively.
Mr. Krishnasamy also known as Mr. K has served the school for nearly 16 years. All his hard work, perseverance and dedication will be remembered.
Mr Yuzi, our IT teacher served our school for seven years. Mr Yuzi is renowned for his skills for taking photograph.
The editorial board wish both the teachers all the best.

Lawatan Tanda Aras SMK Methodist Nibong Tebal

Welcome SMK Methodist Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang!
It was a bright and sunny Thursday morning as we welcomed the beloved teachers and staff from SMK Methodist Nibong Tebal.
A total of 34 teachers, two school staff and a counsellor arrived exactly at 11 o’clock with big smiles on their faces. The objective of the visit was to know more about our school administration; how the school is run and programs towards excellent results. They were taken on a tour of the school.
