Majlis Malam Mesra

Hello hello!

On 22nd of July 2011, Majlis Malam Mesra was held in our school hall. This is the second time that this event is held in our school.The event started at 8.00 pm and came to end at 10.30 pm only. Teachers, parents and even students attended this event! Both parents and teachers had a good bonding time where the parents got to know more about what happens in school and how their children are doing in school.All the stalls that was set up had delicious food. There was ice-kacang, kebab, juices and many other appetizing food. Special guest Dato Kong Cho Ha also attended this event.

Hi everyone! As you all know tomorrow will be the running event, so to all ACS students do not miss this golden oppurtunity to join this big event! We’re not the only ones running. Teachers’ Day Celebration

Greetings everyone!

Today, we are celebrating Teachers’ Day. The celebration has been postponed due to the midterm examinations. Even though it has being deferred, the spirit of celebrating this event is still alive!

There were some spectacular performances put up by the students. Teachers and students also competed among themselves in a series of games. The games were organised by the Upper Sixth Formers. To share the fun they had, take a look at the photos:

Prize Giving Day

Today the prize giving ceremony was held for the achivers of 2010. SMK ACS Sitiawan is truly honoured to have Datuk Kong Cho Ha to join us in this ceremony. The ceremony started at 9 am and came to an end at 12.20 pm.

Congratulations to all the achivers!

Continue to strife hard and live our school’s motto MAJU TERUS MAJU!!!

Education Fair

Hello everyone! There will be an Education Fair tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in our school.This is the first most comprehensive education fair in Sitiawan and its held in our school. It is open to public. These are the details for the fair:

Time: 11 am - 5 pm

Venue: SMK Methodist ACS, Sitiawan

Sukantara 2011

Mr Leong’s Retirement

It is sad to say that Mr. Leong Chick Seng, a dedicated teacher in our school has retired. He has worked in our school for a very long time now and has been a good teacher to all of us

Mr. Leong’s first posting was in SMK Sitiawan (SMAB). Later on the 16th of July 1984 he was transfered to our school, SMK Methodist ACS Sitiawan. From then on, he has never worked in any other school. Thus, its a great loss for us to see an experienced and dedicated teacher like him to retire. But, no matter what we wish him all the best in everything he does. We wish him a happy retirement! THANK YOU MR LEONG!!

Prefect’s Nite

There were 8 teachers and 102 prefects present on that day.

Prefects nite started with an ice breaker ceremony by Sarah Ding.

Then, speeches started off by former head prefect Michelle Wong and was followed by head prefect of year 2010, Anis Amira bt. Mohd. Noor.

Next was Mr Krishnasamy’s speech and was ended with Dr Ashley’s speech.Then, buffet was served and the ceremony continued with performances by the form 1 and form 2 prefects. All the shows were amazing.After that the lucky draw was held and the night ended with the prize giving ceremony and not forgetting the dance floor before going home. It was a great nite indeed!

National Day Celebration

An assembly was held today morning to celebrate our country’s National Day. Many activities were done such as reciting poems in bahasa Melayu and English. Next, the History teachers of our school joined hands to set us students and also teachers a quiz. Many students and teachers participated in this exciting event and had a great time answering it. Before the end of the assembly, Mr. Krishnasamy shouted MERDEKA! for three times followed by the proud citizens of Malaysia in SMK Methodist ACS Sitiawan!
